PSRBA Holds PPM Seminar (PERSONAL PEOPLE METER TO DEBUT IN 2009) PSRBA hosted three workshops geared to a better understanding of the changes and impacts that the Personal People Meter (PPM) has had for markets that have already switched over from the Arbitron diary measurement to the new metering technology. Arbitron will introduce PPM to the Seattle market in April of 2009 and will use three months of dual measurement before dropping the diary.

6/25: Salem drops long-time afternoon host Thor Tolo from KGNW-AM.
6/23: Entercom announces Mike Kaplan (OM @ Entercom/New Orleans) will move here next month to become PD of KNDD (The End). Current PD Lazlo will focus on his afternoon show.
6/17: Bonneville announces Journal Communications' EVP of Television & Radio Carl Gardner will become the Seattle cluster manager effective July 7th.
6/12: KMPS Program Director Becky Brenner adds KBKS PD responsibilities, after former PD Steve Rivers suffers a stroke in Los Angeles (while on disability from CBS).
6/4: KMPS Sales Manager Rod Krebs announces he will be retiring from the station (and the industry) on the 4th of July (his OWN Independence Day!)
6/2: FCC grants permission to KRKO for full power increase (34K/daytime, 50K/nighttime).

Meet Ann Suter PSRBA's Executive Director Ann Suter is PSRBA's Executive Director, who joins our group from her previous role as Executive Director for SCAN TV and Leadership Institute. She also worked for the Washington State Community & Technical College system coordinating the development of distance learning technologies and as the General Manager for the University of Washington cable television channel.
Ann manages our programs and events, including the educational outreach program, our Time Bank, the scholarship and job fair programs, and the Soundies.
