The Puget Sound Radio Broadcasters Association is a trade association representing commercial radio broadcast stations around Puget Sound.  The association was formed in 1976 to support local stations and promote radio advertising and the power of Radio.  Today, membership includes 33 stations representing ten broadcast companies.

Once a year, PSRBA honors those individuals and companies that Uses radio effectively & creatively,  applies significant resources in radio, has practiced five years or longer in the Puget Sound community and has made an impact on the local radio market.  (

Soundies

In 1985, the first Soundie Awards were given to honor the best of local Radio creative. The Soundies have been awarded ever since making it one of the longest running, Radio-only awards programs in the United States. Soundies are judged in multiple categories and awarded in the Spring in a festive ceremony.
